Job Ahoi is a qualification and employment offer that not only teaches technical and social skills but also promotes personal development potential. Job Ahoi enables young people between the ages of 15 and 25 who are looking for work to find employment and at the same time supports them in their search for apprenticeships and applications. The basic idea of the project is to convey to young people that work can be fun and give meaning and fulfillment to life. By supporting them in their search for further training and jobs, Job Ahoi aims to improve the personal living situation of young people and promote their individual development. Job Ahoi is aimed at young people who are not in training or who have dropped out of it, who have not been employed for a long time or who are affected by difficult conditions. The young people learn to recognize their own abilities and strengths and develop their own perspectives for their future career planning. Empowerment and promoting the respective potential of the young people form the core of the project. The project is flexible in terms of handling working hours as well as in terms of individual support. A cornerstone of the project is voluntary participation combined with the payment of pocket money for attendance hours (for pedagogical reasons).
