However, for the operation of the website, it is necessary to process certain data that may relate to a person. These are only the data transmitted to us by your internet browser. This includes in particular the following:

* Date and time of access to one of our web pages
* Your browser type
* Browser settings
* The operating system used
* The page you visited before
* Transferred data volume and access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
* Your IP address

Legal Basis

The legal basis is our legitimate interest (§ 165 para. 3 TKG 2021, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR), which lies in ensuring the operation of the website, performing error and availability analysis, and defending against attacks.

Use of Cookies

To make your visit to our website more attractive, we use cookies that enable the use of certain functions on the site. Cookies are small text files temporarily stored on your device. They do not interfere with the system and do not cause damage.

Most browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies, decide individually whether to accept them, or generally exclude the acceptance of cookies.

Statistical Cookies

Matomo

This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open-source software for the statistical evaluation of user access. Matomo uses cookies. This allows us to analyze the use of the website. The purpose of this analysis is to improve the website for you, by identifying navigation problems and adjusting functions and offerings to your needs. Collecting your data is therefore absolutely necessary for operating the website.

The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is stored exclusively on our web server and not transmitted to other servers or third parties.

Storage: Data collected via Matomo is anonymized and stored indefinitely, and not shared with third parties.

Integration of OpenStreetMap (Two-Click Principle)

We offer interactive maps from OpenStreetMap (OSM) on our website, a project of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), to visually display geographic information. For data protection reasons, the map is deactivated by default.

To display the map, you must actively enable it by clicking a button (“Show map”). Only after your consent will a connection be made to OpenStreetMap servers, which may transfer personal data such as your IP address and technical details (e.g. browser type, operating system).

Upon your consent, a cookie is also set to store your decision. This ensures that the map will automatically be displayed during future visits without requiring renewed consent. Consent is granted pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the cookies in your browser settings.

The map functionality is provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. For more information about data processing by OSMF, see: https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy

Transfer to Third Countries

No transfer to third countries takes place. The website is hosted by an Austrian provider.
