Description

The "Bahnhofsozialdienst" (BSD), founded as "Bahnhofsmission" at the beginning of the 20th century, is the oldest facility of Caritas Tirol. It is a place where homeless people can get support, advice, information, and help finding services. The center is open every day, including weekends and holidays. The main focus of the BSD is to support homeless people and raise awareness about the issues faced by marginalized groups in Tirol. We offer: - Opportunities for conversation - Breakfast and dinner at the Caritas Wolfgangstube - Advice and information (e.g., about financial claims, work, housing, debts) - Help for travelers in trouble - Contact with specialized services - Support in dealing with authorities - Assistance in finding places to sleep and basic medical care through the cooperation project medcar(e).
