Description

Anorexia and bulimia are serious illnesses. In many cases, comprehensive support for those affected is needed. It can be helpful to live outside the family for a time. The Gramartstraße residential community addresses this need. It is an inpatient, socio-therapeutic program for young people who suffer from a diagnosed eating disorder. The aim is for them to be able to shape and enjoy their lives independently, free from stress and without coercion. To this end, the team, which cares for the young people 365 days a year, puts together a varied program: assistance with daily life, psychological counselling, leisure activities, cooking and meal support. Psychotherapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy are offered externally. The residential group supports children and adolescents between 12 and 21 years of age; there are a total of 7 places.

How can the offer be used?

Bei Bedarf können sich Betroffene oder Angehörige direkt bei der Wohngemeinschaft melden. Nach einem Kennenlerngespräch werden die weiteren Schritte geklärt. Den Antrag muss man selbst stellen, das Team des Diakoniewerks ist gerne dabei behilflich. Die Kosten für die Wohngemeinschaft trägt das Land Tirol. Es kann ein Kostenbeitrag an das Land Tirol je nach Einkommensverhältnissen anfallen.
