Description
The Vinziherberge is a simple farmhouse. On the ground floor, there is a modest accommodation for about 15 men. The house manager's family lives on the ground floor, and on the first floor, there is accommodation mainly for women and families. Next to it is the so-called community house. The Vinziherberge is run as independently as possible, has no staff (no social workers, no caretaker), and receives no subsidies. The residents are mainly Roma from various countries. Around the house, there are community gardens tended by residents and about 30 gardeners. In small stables, there are also sheep, donkeys, hens, and more. There is also a tipi, a playground, a fire pit, a pizza oven, and a cultural barn where Roma festivals and other cultural events take place regularly.
