Description

Founded at the beginning of the 20th century as "Bahnhofsmission," the Station Social Service (BSD) is the oldest facility of Caritas Tirol. The stationary point of contact, counseling, information, and referral service for homeless people functions as a social hub. The facility is open daily, including on weekends and holidays. The BSD's focus areas include supporting and caring for homeless individuals and raising awareness about the issues facing marginalized groups in Tirol. We offer: - Conversation opportunities; - Breakfast and dinner in the Caritas Wolfgangstube; - Counseling and information (e.g., about financial claims, employment, housing, debts); - Help for travelers in difficulties; - Contact with specialized institutions; - Support with authority contacts; - Referral for sleeping arrangements and basic medical care to the cooperation project medcar(e).
