Description

Is there someone in your family who has become very forgetful, or have you noticed increasing word-finding difficulties or problems with orientation in your relative? Is living together becoming more difficult and stressful because, for example, obvious memory impairments are being denied? Did you know that these can be early signs of a developing dementia (e.g., Alzheimer’s)? EduKation Demenz® is a training course for relatives and others close to people with dementia that helps you better empathize with the situation of those affected and thereby gain a deeper understanding of their individual needs. The group setting also allows participants to exchange experiences. Knowledge about dementia is conveyed by a specially trained and experienced course instructor. Together you will work out how to better manage challenging situations in everyday life.
