Description

The Equal Treatment and Anti-Discrimination Service assists with unequal treatment under the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act and the State Equal Treatment Act. Members of the public can contact the Service if they feel discriminated against by the State of Tyrol, a Tyrolean municipality, or a municipal association. Discrimination occurs when a person is treated less favorably than another person on the basis of sex, ethnic origin, religion, belief, disability, age, or sexual orientation. The Equal Treatment and Anti-Discrimination Service also advises on equal treatment issues within the Tyrolean state administration and conducts conciliation talks in cases of discrimination involving state employees.
