Caritas integration project Buddy

Description

The project offers volunteers the opportunity to help recognized refugees, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection, or asylum seekers manage their daily lives in their new country. No training is required for the voluntary role as a Caritas buddy. Caritas buddies are bridge-builders and thereby gain insights into the often unfamiliar living realities of people with a refugee background. Conversely, people with a refugee background become better acquainted with the customs of the host society. Ideally, it is an exchange of knowledge and experience in which friendships sometimes develop.
