Description

Kinderschutz Tirol is a specialized agency for the protection of children and young people from violence and sexual assault. At our five locations in Innsbruck, Wörgl, Lienz, Imst and Reutte we offer free, confidential and, if required, anonymous counselling for children, young people and their caregivers. The affected child or young person is at the centre of our work. Together with families and relevant institutions we develop concrete support measures that enable an exit from stressful or violence-affected situations. Our support includes: - Counselling for children, young people and families - Counselling and psychotherapy in the context of child protection work, as well as therapeutic groups for children to process experiences of violence - Information and support in legal matters: if a report is filed or criminal proceedings are initiated, we offer accompaniment during the legal process - Close cooperation with partner organisations
