The Stubai Valley Social and Health District aims to promote healthcare and social services in the Stubai Valley area and covers the market municipality of Fulpmes as well as the municipalities of Mieders, Neustift i.St., Schönberg i.St. and Telfes i.St. Under the motto that older people in need of care should, as far as possible, be able to remain in a familiar environment, the Stubai Valley Social and Health District provides the following care and support services (basic services) depending on need: - Home nursing care - Medical home nursing care - Palliative care - Home help - Household assistance - Care counseling - Day care - Loan of assistive devices, such as commode chairs, wheelchairs, walkers, etc. - Meals on wheels In addition to the services listed above, other institutions also offer counseling services in the district premises, such as Pro Mente, the Centre for Marriage, Life and Family Counseling, Caritas, as well as other organizations and individuals. These include, for example, the mother/parent counseling of the State of Tyrol, psychotherapy, nutritional counseling, speech therapy, occupational therapy, dietetic counseling, legal advice and psychosocial services. The office of the Stubai Valley Volunteer Coordination is also located in the premises of the Stubai Valley Social and Health District.
