Description

We deliver a warm lunch daily (in Alpbach and Brandenberg from MON-FRI) to people in need of care or those who live alone in the communities of Alpbach, Brandenberg, Brixlegg, Münster, Radfeld, Rattenberg, and Reith i. A. who cannot provide for themselves anymore. In addition to regular meals, we also offer light meals or suitable food for diabetics. The meals are prepared at the St. Josefsheim in Brixlegg or at the Münster rehabilitation center. During the time between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, volunteers deliver meals on wheels. The delivery time depends on the order of the delivery personnel's schedule and the number of meal recipients. We are always happy to welcome new drivers who would like to support this valuable service.

How can the offer be used?

 People living alone who can no longer take care of themselves  Those without family members who can prepare meals for them  Those who are no longer mobile  Those without the ability to shop or visit a restaurant  In cases of social hardship after necessity verification (by PDL)  Caregiving relatives to relieve their burden

Special features and further information

The thermal containers and dishes are owned by the social and health service and must be returned to the delivery personnel the following day. Billing is done for a period of one month. Inquiries or issues regarding this service should be directed to the social service office, not the kitchen.
