Description

Komfüdro is a low-threshold contact and access point for people with addiction issues at Caritas Mentlvilla. It provides uncomplicated, quick assistance through psychosocial counseling. A second pillar of the service is health prevention: we inform about infectious diseases, dispose of used injection equipment properly, and provide new supplies. Drug use and dealing are strictly prohibited at the day center. Apart from that, accessing our services is not conditioned on any prerequisites. - Psychosocial counseling and support; - Syringe distribution and exchange; - Safer-use and safer-sex counseling; - Health information on infectious diseases (Hepatitis B/C, HIV, abscesses, etc.); - Special opening hours for women; - Referral to other institutions and services; - Hot and cold drinks and snacks at cost price; - Warm meals; - Shower and laundry facilities.
