Description

The Komfüdro is a low-threshold contact and drop-in center for people with substance use disorders at Caritas Mentlvilla. This enables uncomplicated, prompt help through psychosocial counseling. A second pillar of the service is health prevention: we provide information about infectious diseases, dispose of used injecting equipment properly, and distribute new equipment. Drug consumption and dealing are strictly prohibited in the day center. Apart from that, use of our services is not subject to any conditions. - Psychosocial counseling and support; - Needle and syringe distribution and exchange; - Safer-use and safer-sex counseling; - Health information about infectious diseases (hepatitis B/C, HIV, abscesses, etc.); - Special opening hours for women; - Referrals to other institutions and services; - Hot and cold drinks and snacks at cost price; - Hot meals; - Shower and laundry facilities.
