"Not knowing where to sleep at night. For homeless people with addiction issues, this is often everyday life. The Mentlvilla emergency shelter offers its residents protection from drug dealers and social discrimination. Our accepting approach to drug work means, for example, that those seeking help do not have to be ready for drug abstinence or detox. - Emergency shelter and basic care for up to six months: sleeping place, food, clothing, hygiene products, registered address, etc.; - Health services (hygiene advice, needle exchange, health information, basic psychosocial support, safer-use and safer-sex advice); - Social work (counseling, support, crisis intervention, family work, networking, follow-up care); - Social education work (boosting self-esteem, promoting social and housing skills, organizing recreational activities); - Shower and laundry facilities."
