Caritas visiting service for family caregivers

Description

A large proportion of people in need of care are cared for by their family members. For them, the daily care of their relative becomes an emotional and physical challenge. Relief is provided by the Caritas visiting service. Specially trained volunteers support caregiving relatives free of charge and confidentially. Our volunteers are specifically chosen for this role through a selection process, receive ongoing training and are insured. What we offer? - Spending time together, listening, empathizing, sharing life; - Information about local respite services; - Support in building networks; - NO nursing or household tasks.
