Caritas accompaniment service for family caregivers

Description

Approximately 80 percent of all people in need of care are cared for and looked after by their relatives. For many, daily life as a caregiver becomes an emotional and physical challenge. Relief for relatives in Innsbruck is provided by the Caritas accompaniment service. It consists of specially trained volunteers. They accompany people who, due to illness, disability or old age, need assistance to outpatient clinic and doctor appointments.
