Description

The Outpatient Addiction Prevention (ASP) offers psychotherapy and counseling for people with addiction issues and their relatives. Alcohol, medication, and drug addiction, as well as behavioral addictions (e.g., internet addiction, gaming addiction, gambling, eating disorders, etc.) are treated psychotherapeutically and supported psychiatrically. The assistance also targets individuals who need support before and after inpatient treatment. ASP also provides psychotherapy based on court orders under § 12 of the Drug Law ('Therapy instead of Punishment') and is thus a recognized counseling institution according to § 15 of the Drug Law.
