Description

Pregnancy and childbirth can bring many emotions and challenges for women and their partners. For some, it is a joyful time, while for others, it can be very stressful. The deep changes that come with having a baby can cause personal insecurities or make existing problems worse. Mixed feelings, low moods, worries about being overwhelmed, relationship issues, grief after a miscarriage, and so on can significantly complicate daily life. We offer counseling and support for pregnant women and/or their partners who feel overwhelmed, are in special life situations, or have experienced painful or traumatic events related to their pregnancy. Some women and couples also wonder whether to end the pregnancy. Well-meaning advice from others often increases pressure and makes decision-making harder. We work independently and impartially, with our main priority being to support you during a difficult time or help you make the right decision for yourself. We stand by the principle of the right to make decisions about one’s own body as a basic human right and view abortion as a deeply personal choice that belongs solely to the woman involved. We are here to support and guide you through this sensitive process. You can also seek counseling months after an abortion or loss, or come back to us later if needed. Our counseling is confidential, open-ended, and subject to privacy laws. The sessions are free, but we welcome contributions to help maintain our services. Don’t stay alone with your worries, fears, doubts, and uncertainties. Professional conversations in a safe space can help. Just call us to make an appointment.
