Description
The adult representatives at VertretungsNetz support people whose decision-making capacity is limited due to a mental illness or a comparable impairment. They represent them, for example, before public authorities, when concluding contracts, in managing their finances, or in securing an appropriate living situation. Our staff offer advice to all those affected and train relatives who wish to act as adult representatives. Those affected and their relatives can set up and register various types of representation with VertretungsNetz. Before any court-ordered adult representation, we carry out a mandatory assessment on behalf of the competent court.
