Offer

Description
Social support is an offer that offers support to people in difficult social situations. This is provided by voluntary and specially trained employees whose job it is to support people with low-threshold tasks (for example accompanying them to official procedures or sorting documents) and to help people in crises to find the right contact points. The social support workers therefore also act as bridge builders and networkers to refer people to the offers and experts who can offer them professional and, if necessary, long-term support in their emergency situation. How it works: If you find yourself in a challenging life situation that is pushing you to your limits, please contact your district office of the Tyrol Red Cross as a first step. The social support worker will then arrange an appointment with you for an initial joint discussion in which you can explain the problem and define appropriate goals together with the social support worker. The support we start covers a maximum period of six months and always aims to help you regain and strengthen your self-efficacy.
