Description

Rehabilitation training teaches people mobility, orientation, and performing daily activities. The goal of the training is to discuss one's own visual impairment or blindness in an open and appreciative atmosphere and to strengthen self-confidence, as well as to raise awareness in the surrounding environment. Furthermore, techniques are taught that expand the scope of action and mobility, thus encouraging a self-determined life. The existing senses are trained, and personal strategies are strengthened and developed. Since new media are taking up more space in everyday life and, for example, smartphones are an important aid for many, we also offer training in the use of the iPhone.
