Our shared apartment is called Heim Via Claudia. 15 people live in the psychosocial shared apartment. They need help and support in their everyday lives. It is important to us that people can live freely and independently with us. We look at what everyone is good at and what they can still learn. If everyone in the psychosocial shared apartment makes an effort, people can live well together. The psychosocial shared apartment Via Claudia can also accommodate people who need a new chance after a difficult phase in their life. This is the case, for example, if they have been ill for a very long time or if they have broken the law. They can lead a normal life here. The employees of the psychosocial shared apartment Via Claudia talk to family members, therapists, adult representatives, confidants and doctors. This helps them to organize life in the shared apartment better. Here, everyone should spend their free time like everyone else does. We call this “normality”. Everyone can take part in village life. All facilities and events can be attended in the village. Some people already live very independently in the psychosocial shared apartment. They can do many things on their own. We help these people to be able to move into their own apartment later. We also support them in getting a job again.
