ÖZIV Tyrol District Associations - Recreational Activities

Description

To promote participation in social life, the eight district associations of ÖZIV Tirol, together with their volunteer teams, offer their members a variety of leisure activities such as swimming meetups, cooking classes, bowling evenings, theatre visits, excursions and celebrations. The district associations also organize informational events and meetings for personal exchange among people with disabilities in the sense of the peer approach. In addition, our district associations offer volunteer peer counseling for people with disabilities. Peer counseling is counseling by people with disabilities for people with disabilities. The peer counselors are supported, further trained and assisted with their mobility by ÖZIV-Tirol.
