"Job-Fit for Girls*"

Description

"We support girls and young women in the transition from school to work. This helps them use their strengths and skills fully. The job preparation program Job-Fit for girls is aimed at young women with learning difficulties, disabilities, or who need support, aged between 15 and 24 years. We work with them for a period of 10 to 18 months. We have 21 hours of work per week, spread over five days, focusing on career goals. Every girl has a personal coach who guides her throughout the job preparation process. The main areas of focus are new media, cultural skills, and basic education. Through trial internships, the participants gain practical work experience. We work in a small group of 6 to 8 girls. The Job-Fit project is funded by the Ministry of Social Services."
