Description

Our home helpers support people in need of care of all ages — who, due to old age, health impairments or difficult social circumstances, are unable to care for themselves — with household management and activities of daily living, aiming to support independent activity and to promote self‑help. As an important link between the client, their social environment and all other involved caregivers, the home helper works in a team with home nursing services and the staff of the mobile care services. The domestic service does not replace a professional cleaner and performs tasks in accordance with the guidelines of the State of Tyrol (preparing meals, tidying the living area, changing beds with fresh linens, washing laundry, ironing). In case of heavier soiling, a basic cleaning must first be carried out by a professional cleaning company or a domestic cleaner. According to the guidelines of the State of Tyrol — except in individual cases justified on nursing grounds — domestic services may only be provided in combination with other services from the home help service catalogue.
