Education and leisure

Description

FreiRaum is an inclusive leisure and education project for people who learn at their own pace. We work in accordance with Article 24 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It states that people with disabilities have the same right to lifelong learning as everyone else. Our goal is to promote self-determination, independence, participation in decision-making and social participation of people with disabilities. To this end, we also cooperate with other education providers such as the Volkshochschule Tirol. FreiRaum offers courses, discussion groups and leisure activities on a variety of topics. Through professional, skilled assistance, our program also makes educational and leisure offerings accessible to people with high support needs. People with learning difficulties should be strengthened by FreiRaum’s offerings and be able to lead an active and equal life in society.
