Description

Consultation/seeing value helps affected individuals better understand the type and extent of their vision impairment and articulate their resulting needs. The following services are offered: - Social legal advice: ･ for nursing care allowance applications ･ for requests for funding for assistive devices ･ for applying for the disability pass and parking permit - Vision counseling: ･ Information about the type, course, and effects of various eye diseases ･ Information about optical, acoustic, and tactile aids ･ the possibility to test magnifying aids at the counseling center as well as at home ･ Tips for optimizing the environment. - Vocational orientation and qualification: ･ “seeing value” supports people of working age through personal qualification to obtain and secure a job on an equal basis.

Individuals affected by blindness or visual impairment, relatives, and network partners.
