The Diakoniewerk offers various employment opportunities for people with disabilities in Tyrol. Inclusion and a social-space orientation are driving forces that enable meaningful employment for the participants. Offers in Tyrol: + Shop Nudel&Holz in Kufstein: Sustainable and integrative! Nudel & Holz is a refill shop for discovering and chatting. In its diverse range, customers find unpackaged foods such as pasta, rice, beans, grains and much more. Customers fill the goods themselves into containers they bring and carry them home. There are also other regional products such as eggs or milk. New opportunity for used items In addition to food, the integrative team also sells used items such as books, toys, bags or household goods. These are donated to the shop, checked and refurbished if necessary. + Integrative Employment Hopfgarten: So that people with disabilities can work where everyone else works, Diakoniewerk provides support from specialist educators. With the help of Integrative Employment Hopfgarten they have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in working life and the social environment. A good network between businesses, partner organizations, authorities, the municipality, schools and the personal environment of the employees is crucial. This gives the employees the best possible chance to participate in social life and brings inclusion one step closer. + Kirchbichl Workshop: The supported individuals can contribute according to their strengths, for example in the wood workshop, the art workshop, the felt and candle workshop or in the kitchen and household area. There is also a media group as well as group focuses on computer work. We also place value on sports, exercise and music. The various tasks strengthen independence and help discover and develop skills. Working together promotes a sense of community and relationship-building in everyday life. + Kulinarium Kitzbühel: People with disabilities are given the opportunity to work here and contribute their talents and skills in the kitchen and gastronomy. For them, this represents another step toward social participation. Kulinarium Kitzbühel supplies snack and school buffets or creates buffets for company parties and events. You can also order regular meal deliveries from us, such as lunch. The team also cooks for Meals on Wheels in the Kitzbühel area. + Café & Bistro KOWALSKI: Vocational preparation for the labour market The Café & Bistro KOWALSKI in Kitzbühel prepares people with learning difficulties for entry into the primary labour market. In addition to the gastronomy service, specialists from Diakoniewerk offer in-depth training on hygiene, purchasing, customer service and much more. They also organize internships with interested partner companies.
