Description

Sindbad is a non-profit organization that advocates for greater equality of opportunity in education. Young people receive support from Sindbad when they transition from compulsory school to further education. A volunteer mentor personally accompanies each young person. The mentors regularly meet with the youths. Together, they do activities that they both enjoy. They discuss wishes, strengths, and ideas for the future. They write applications together and gather information about schools, apprenticeships, and professions.

Special features and further information

Participation in the mentoring program is free for the young people and lasts between 8-12 months. The mentoring program starts in November and March each year.
