Youth Coaching

Description

Youth coaching is a free and voluntary support offer for young people. For students, out-of-school youth, youth required to undergo training, and young offenders aged between 14 and 19 years, or up to 25 years for those with increased support needs. The goals are to improve the educational level and job market chances of young people, to prevent training dropouts and to guide them towards training and to plan individual perspectives. Additionally, youth coaching aims to contribute significantly to the personal and social stabilization of young people. Issues like family difficulties, addiction behaviors, debts, housing problems, delinquency, and psychological crises complicate access to higher qualifications. Through personal perspective planning, further school attendance, qualification measures, training opportunities, or stable employment relationships aim to be facilitated. Youth coaching is a nationwide service funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs, and it is available in all districts of Tyrol. Consulting can also be offered in English or with interpreter support if needed.
