Description

Are you in an orientation phase, looking for new perspectives, or need a break from everyday life? The CUBIC association has been supporting young people for over 20 years on their path to greater stability, self-confidence, and future perspectives. CUBIC offers low-threshold, socially pedagogically supported projects in Tyrol and across Europe – from regional creative and learning programs to international short and long-term projects, as well as EU-funded internships and youth encounters. The offerings are aimed at adolescents and young adults (ages 13–30), especially during phases of transition, stress, or orientation. The focus is on personal empowerment, mental stabilization, social and professional orientation, and new learning and life experiences – for example, through crafts, social engagement, sustainability, and intercultural exchange. No prior knowledge is required, and many offerings are free or heavily subsidized. All participants are professionally supported.

Who is the offer for?

Youth and young adults aged 13 to 30 residing in Tyrol (partly also across Austria or the EU, depending on the project format). The offerings particularly target young people in orientation, transition, or stressful situations, such as difficulties transitioning from school to training or employment, psychosocial stress, lack of perspective, or the desire for a supported break. No prior knowledge is required; many projects are free or heavily subsidized. Participation is voluntary and independent of school completion, training, or employment status. Close social pedagogical support is available if needed.

How can the offer be used?

Accessing the offering is low-threshold! Interested young individuals can contact the CUBIC association via WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, by phone, or by email. Subsequently, an informal first or information meeting takes place. During this meeting, the current situation, interests, and needs are discussed, and it is jointly clarified which project offering is suitable. Only after this discussion is a possible participation decided. Referral through a clearing agency is not necessary. Collaborations with counseling centers, youth coaching, or other support systems take place regularly.

Special features and further information

The offerings of the CUBIC association are low-threshold, voluntary, and tailored to the individual life situation of the participants. Many projects are free or heavily subsidized (including through EU programs), and no prior knowledge is required. All participants receive continuous social pedagogical and social work support – from preparation through the project duration to aftercare. Additional psychosocial support offerings can be integrated if needed. The offering is resource- and strength-oriented, confidential, and based on the principles of non-formal education. The goal is sustainable personal, social, and professional stabilization.
