"Intercultural Lunch Table"

Description

The Intercultural Lunch Table is part of the language and integration program "German as a Friendly Language." Every week, participants from the current German learning group cook dishes from their home countries together with volunteers. While cooking (always on Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM), the participants learn new words related to cooking and learn more about topics like sustainability, waste separation, food use, and vegetable growing. After the language training, the place is prepared for the lunch table. Starting at 12 PM, the location is open for visitors. As soon as guests arrive, the participants can easily talk with them. The Intercultural Lunch Table offers a great opportunity for casual conversation and a nice way to meet new people.
