Caritas socio-educational family support

Description

Socio-educational family support assists and accompanies families who are going through stressful phases of life. This assistance is offered in cooperation with child and youth services. The welfare of the children and adolescents is the primary focus. The emphasis of our work is on supporting parenting and strengthening relational skills within the family. This gives the family the opportunity to work on stabilizing these relationship skills. When necessary, we also refer to other Caritas support services, e.g. social or family counseling, as well as to other organizations and institutions. We help with: - Behavioral problems in a minor - Parenting problems - Parental separation or divorce - Death of a family member - Being overwhelmed by managing everyday life - Difficult housing conditions - Financial difficulties - Reintegration of children into the family - Support during visitations - Neglect and/or inadequate care of children - Conflict and crisis situations - Domestic violence - Families with a migration background - Families affected by mental illness - Families with addiction disorders (see service brochure below)
