Caritas regional work

Description

The Parish-Community Caritas is the cooperation between the diocesan Caritas, the parishes and communities in the regions. Our regional coordinators are contact persons for paid and volunteer staff of the parish communities. They offer support in various areas, such as: - setting up Parish-Community Caritas teams or social committees; - training and further education for volunteers; - networking and exchanging experiences with other parishes; - supporting parish visiting services; - spiritual offerings or educational programmes for volunteer staff. In addition, together with paid and volunteer members of the parish communities they take care of carrying out the Caritas house-to-house collection. This forms a significant part of the Caritas budget and supports people in need in Tyrol.
