Description

Refugee women and their children face double hurdles: they struggle for their rights and sometimes experience violence and discrimination because of their gender and origin. Together and through mutual exchange these hurdles are easier to overcome, which is why we connect women with and without refugee experience for mutual encouragement. Having a coffee together, going for a walk, or simply calling can help them feel welcome. Accompanying each other to appointments with authorities or to doctor visits is also a way to help one another. We need you to help women displaced by war and their children experience a bit of Tyrolean hospitality and integration. The TIROLER mentors receive support and are offered accompanying workshops and supervision.
