Description

Is there someone in your family who has become very forgetful, or do you notice increasing word-finding difficulties or orientation problems with your relative? Is living together becoming increasingly difficult and stressful because obvious memory impairments are being denied? Do you know that these may be early signs of a developing dementia (e.g., Alzheimer’s)? EduKation Dementia® is a training program for relatives and caregivers of people with dementia, which helps them empathize better with the situation of those affected, leading to a deeper understanding of the respective needs. In the group, experiences can also be exchanged. Knowledge about dementia diseases is provided by a specially trained and experienced course leader. Together you will work on how to better manage challenging situations in daily life.
