Description
What is TrainingFit? Why does TrainingFit exist? Some young people need a little more time and support after finishing school to find their way in the job market. They often lack important prerequisites for the vocational training they are aiming for or basic skills for successful integration. The aim is to give young people the opportunity to subsequently acquire basic qualifications and social skills that they have missed, as well as to learn about training opportunities and thus find their way better in the job market. Who is the target group? TrainingFit is aimed at young people aged 15 to 21 or up to 25 (for young people with disabilities) who want to complete vocational training and whose career choice seems clear at the moment. How do I get to TrainingFit? Access to TrainingFit is regulated through close cooperation between youth coaching and AMS. The first point of contact for TrainingFit is youth coaching. If participation in TrainingFit is recommended by the responsible youth coaching, the youth coaching will contact the responsible AMS (employment service) to clarify whether they are eligible for a living allowance (DLU). TrainingFit can then begin. This is free and voluntary. During the support provided by TrainingFit, the AMS will pay a so-called living allowance (DLU) for each “working day”.
