Fit for work until age 25 (AF25)

Description

The new statutory regulation for the initiative "Arbeitsfähig bis 25" (AF25) aims to promote employment and inclusion of young people with disabilities and reduced work capacity. It contributes to comprehensive participation in all areas of life as well as improved financial security for this group. With the entry into force of the relevant amendment, it has not been possible since 1 January 2024 to order a mandatory determination of incapacity for work for persons under 25 years of age. The role of youth coaching in the context of AF25 is to advise young people and their environment about their potentials and possible perspectives.
