Description

The house for mother and child offers pregnant women and mothers with small children who are completing or aiming for training holistic care and support in a shared apartment. The target group is pregnant women of full age and mothers with small children The goals are: - Improving the chances of entering working life by starting, continuing or completing vocational training - Developing a long-term future perspective for mother and child(ren) - Promoting personal development while taking the needs of mother and child(ren) into account There are 5 rooms available. Each family lives in a mother-child room with its own shower/toilet. There are also common rooms such as a kitchen-diner, living room, playroom, bathroom with washing machine, storage room and an outdoor playground. Care is provided by specialist staff (qualified social workers and educators). The monthly costs are 210 euros (180 euros housing contribution + 30 euros electricity flat rate). The deposit when moving in is 200 euros. (As of 2024) The advisory team of Aktion Leben Salzburg decides on admission.
