Youth coaching supports you in your decision about how to continue your school or professional career. You develop your own goals and perspectives together with your coach. Are you in the last year of compulsory school? Do you want support with your career orientation, further training and the decision about what to do after your last year of school? Then you have come to the right place! We look towards the future with you and support you in choosing a career and organizing trial internships. Your youth coach can also advise you on choosing a secondary school. You have come to the right place if... ...you are in the last year of compulsory school or are already attending your voluntary 10th, 11th or 12th year at a middle school, polytechnic school or general special school. ...you dont know exactly what you want to do after school. ...you need help deciding whether school or an apprenticeship is more suitable for you. ...you want to know which job you are suited to. ...you want to find out where your strengths and abilities lie and what you are particularly interested in. ...you want to know how to best apply to companies. ...you find it difficult to develop future plans for yourself. The youth coaching from Pro Mente Salzburg is an offer for students who are completing their last year of compulsory schooling in a middle school, polytechnic school or a general special school. We offer support in the transition from school to further training: Together we find out strengths, abilities and interests, help with career orientation, organize trial internships and support you with your application documents. We support you in the decision to attend further school or in the search for other suitable alternatives. Process from the initial interview to the perspective plan - Initial interview with young people (and parents): Schools, parents or the young people themselves can contact the youth coaching at any time and arrange an appointment for the initial interview. - Building relationships and defining goals: When getting to know each other, a relationship and trust are built. Together we agree on goals and the next steps. - Perspective planning: For career orientation, we look at individual strengths and abilities. But your own interests are also important. It is possible to try things out. - Case management: If there are several related problems, other support systems and counseling services are also brought in. Your youth coach has the right contacts. - This is how it continues: The final interview takes place with young people (and parents). We discuss further perspectives and future plans. If necessary, we refer you to other counseling centers.
