Prevention, advice, therapy and mediation At the Salzburg drug counseling service, the focus of the counseling is on the individual and his or her personal situation. We advise drug-dependent and drug-at-risk young people and adults, primarily in the area of illegal substances. If desired, we can also do this anonymously, by email or on the phone. Our target group includes: - Affected people who voluntarily visit our advice center - Affected people who come to us because of a care assignment under the Narcotics Act (SMG) - Drug addicts who want to get information or support about drug replacement therapy (substitution) - Affected people who are in custody or on remand and are visited by a member of staff - Affected people who are in the Christian Doppler Clinic (e.g. for detoxification treatment) and are visited by a member of staff We are also the contact for: - Relatives and friends of those affected - Young people who are looking for basic information about addiction and drugs (for a presentation, dealing with friends, etc.) - Employees from various social institutions who come to us for specialist advice - We also offer specialist information and statements on drug-specific and addiction policy topics for interested parties (politicians and media)
